If you’re looking for a bathroom sound system that will blend right in to your bathroom, the Broan SPK110 Sensonic Speaker Fan is worth a look. For bathrooms up to 105 square feet, this is a great fan and speaker combination. The fan runs quietly, which lets your music be heard over the noise of your shower. The quality of the sound is impressive for how contained the speaker is, but won’t replace a full bathroom sound system. This can be helped by changing the equalizer on your Bluetooth device to accentuate midrange outputs.
This fan is ENERGY STAR certified and complies with CALGreen. Broan includes a 3 year warranty, which is definitely reassuring. The 13 x 14 inch grill of the SPK110 is white, but the polymeric finish can be painted to match your bathroom. For me, it’s a bit disappointing that there is no light included.
While I did note above that the speaker can only be used while the fan is on, some Amazon reviewers noted ways around this, either by hardwiring the speaker or giving the speaker and fan their own switches. It appeared they were both electricians and if you want to attempt this, I highly recommend finding someone who knows what they’re doing!
